Work, Script#, BOT2K3Hello folks!
I realized I hadn't written something here for a long time. I guess that's because I'm too busy working ;-) I've been in the US for 2,5 weeks now and I can says: wow. It is absolute awesome to be working here at MSN (or should I say Windows Live now?). In fact, I like it so much that I've been staying in till like 9pm the last couple of days!
Either way, part of my project is using an experimental library called Script#. Script# is a library which translates your C# code to readable Javascript code which you can then easily add to any website you want. I've been using it for a while now, and I can tell you: it's very cool. Besides using it I've also donated some code to it (something that can only be done if you're on the MS Corp network, unfortunatly ;-) so a new version, 1.3.0 should be released soon!
Besides work I'm also planning on dedicating some more time on BOT2K3. Seeing as we have Yahoo! Interoperability now, it would be cool if BOT2K3 could also make use of it! To do so, we have to push to MSNP14 though. Right now BOT2K3 uses P12 with an experimental P13 library on the way. P14 shouldn't be that different, so I expect support for that rather sooner than later.
Unfortunatly, being with Microsoft now, and having access to the MSNP docs I have to be careful what I am doing; I don't want to be kicked out of course for "stealing" information.. And I won't -- My project does not require me to look into the specs that often (or even at all), and I'm not planning to do so. So if you think I know everything, think again ;-)
Oh, and PS: dogfooding Windows Live products rocks ;-) |
